this afternoon i went to feed my female mossy that i had for almost 3yrs. as i placed the cricket infront of her face she reared back as if she was going to lunge and then her head started to twitch. after about 3 sec, she squealed and then flopped to the ground. every muscle in her body tensed up and she was as stiff as a board. she stayed like that for about 30 sec and then completely ballooned up with air. i sprayed her and put her on a piece of plastic at an angle. when i got back from work she was perfectly fine. she was a little lately, but im not sure what could ve triggered it.

Well, I'm certainly not a vet, but from caring for many different type lizards, I would say she has a major calcium problem (deficientcy)

Are you dusting her feeders well? Has she layed eggs recently?

I'm glad she perked up for you. Others will probably want to jump in here and let you know what they think. Sure hope she will straighten out and be okay! Let us know
