Hi guys, I found a little blue belly yesterday in my house, I wanna keep it but I don't know how to tell if it is an adult or a baby, it is about 4 inches long total(include tail). The pattern of blue patches looks like it is a female but again people are saying that young one and female look similar...so do you guys know how to tell if it is a juvenllie or not? I can see some blue dots on its back too.

The indevidual you found is a subadult. Blu blotches on his back mean it is a male, Males get blue on there back during breeding season. The are easy to sex at any age. Males have dark blue bellies and females are more of a sky blue Males also have pre anal pore but may be hard to see at young ages, They also have post anal bulges that are easy to see. Go to google and look up Fence Lizard Care and do a lot of research.
