Hi, this lizard was spotted in Qatar. Anyone know what it is?

Looks like a member of the genus Uromastyx to me. Common name would be spiny tailed agamid. The species is probably acanthinurus.
Only reason I am not dead certain is that this is a primarily African genus, & I am not sure if the range into Qatar, although one species is found in northwestern India.

Greg, thank you so much for your help.
Best regards,
Rhett
Looks like Uromastyx aegyptia. To my knowledge this species is not described for Qarab so far, but is known to live in neighbouring areas od Saudi arabia.
