does this look like a gravid female?

xNeViNx May 13, 2006 10:53 PM

since this is my first year breeding these little buggers...
so does she look gravid? i kno its not a good clear pic, but i was wandering if you could tell by the shape alone. when i looked at her today, she was sitting on the top of a branch. and she deff looked gravid.

thanx

I have no experience with Standings Day Geckos, but I would say yes - she looks gravid.

Geckogirl - what do you think? You breed Standings right?

She looks gravid to me. She'll probably get much bigger before she lays though.

WOW! She wasn't that big. I figured she would have had another couple weeks before she laid, but there was only one, so that could explain why she wasn't too chubby.

The babies are sooooo cute! Incubate around 80 degrees F and in about 62 days you will have yourself a cute little hatchling.
