How many breeders?

dakman May 19, 2006 08:28 PM

Wow, been pretty busy and never noticed until very recent a forum for just Tokays. Was wondering how many people are breeding and working with CB Tokays. My project is getting about 5 years old now, so long I can't remember the last time I didn't have eggs and baby Tokays. I traded with another Tokay breeder a month ago and added a very nice new CB male and two unknown sex for now CB babies. In the trade I gave up my prized(to me) large Male Rex, I miss him but I have a legacy of offspring from him and my new males demeaner is much better. I should have some awsome looking Tokays with hopefully even better tempers early next year. Would like to hear from any serious Tokay breeders, still not enough of us seeing how many wc there is everywhere. Hers a few pretty new pics i hope you enjoy.

Just to add on to the list:
I bred my fist tokays in 1981. Later I had a 10 year break, but since 1998 I am again on the tokay breederlist.

Hi, I remember you were working on a book. Was wondering if it got finished yet and if so is there a english version. I will say one thing, after years now of seeing advice from you, no matter how skeptical I might have been at the time, it has always panned out. Thanks

Hi,

due various problems of the publishing company which I could not influence, the manuscript is still waiting on my desk.
Hopefully we will proceed this year. At least the editor just managed to bring out my book on veiled chameleons-which had also been ready since 2002.
So there is hope, the gekko book will eventually make its way.

Best regards

Ingo
