Texas Spiny Lizard Eggs

aaandyyy5 Jun 12, 2006 11:21 AM

I found a large female laying egggs. I found them yesterday evening(6-11-06). There are 24 eggs. I have them in a hovabator incubator. Temperature is at 82 degrees. Is it ok to incubate them using bed-a-beast. I havent had time to get perlite or vermiculite.

Hey Andy,
Bed a beast in my opinion is the best incubation medium. I use only this medium for all my lizard eggs. I thoughly soak it until its saturated, then I ring it out in one hand until I cant squeeze out any more water. That is the perfect medium and it lasts the whole incubation time until hatch. I use the four inch clear deli's with four holes punched in the sides. If you have anymore questions, please email me.

Hope this helps.

Hey
Thanks for everything. Hopefully they hatch. Probably a couple months?
