Age of cherryhead, please help?

pealow Jun 29, 2006 07:20 AM

I ordered a cherryhead hatchling from Neil Golli reptiles. He came
today and looks healthy. I have a few questions for the experts. One he
still has a dried yolk sac on his plastron and two he has an egg tooth.
Neil said that he was hatched in April but was put on the website on
June 12th. Could he have hatched in April and still have a (empty) yolk
sac and egg tooth??? Also his shell is a little crooked. Not been able to get him to eat anything but a few bites of banana, no greens.
Thanks,
Paula

No idea about the age, but it will definitely eat once it settles down. I got a baby cherryhead a few weeks ago & it didn't eat for 2 or 3 days, now it eats everything I put before it.
