Bull frog (albino)eggs ?set up

emysbreeder Jul 02, 2006 10:37 AM

I have albino Bull Frog eggs today.Their in a outside pond that already has Cuban tree frog tadpolls in it.I took some of the eggs out,in the same water. The Cubans were trying to eat them but the jelly mass around the eggs protected them from being eaten. How should I go about raising them to frogs. Thanks Vic Morgan

congrats! my albino bullfrog just morphed into a frog about two weeks ago. keep them in that same water and put food in for when they turn into tads. there isn't really anything you can do while they are still eggs though. for food use fish food, algea wafers - not more then one per 10 gallons, it "clogs" the water so they can't breathe. you can also use tadpole food, algea sheets- you may have to look around for these, but they work great. they shouldn't turn into frogs for at least 1.5 years though. if all goes well i can tell you more when they start to get lungs and such. good luck and feel free to ask more questions!
