The banded Cal Kings like that one are my favorites - despite all the custom morphs out there on the market. I've got three of them (also WC, all males) - and I just love 'em.

Sweet! I've found a few nice banded Cal kings while field herping on foot this spring.
Yes, kings of any type are always an exciting find. There's something about finding a "classic" American snake that's very rewarding. I found this one in 2005:
