I haven't posted a pic in forever, so I thought I'd give it a try since the forum is slow. I'm hoping to get some babies from this girl this fall. Anyone else expecting any Atheris babies? Enjoy.

My female is almost same colour as yours (not as red but something like that)and my male is green/yellow.
I'm trying to breed them next year or so.
Good luck with your viper.

Hi:
I think I should have some Squams and Ceratophora babies this fall. Contact me if you would like to swap bloodlines.
Cheers!

Hi Al
Wow, you have some really nice animals! Thank you for sharing as I am a fellow photo junkie (I looked at every single photo you had in that album...and I've been drooling over your bitis photos, too). Why no black squams? I guess that they're not everyone's cup of tea, but they are some of my favorites. I really like your high contrast rust/gold animal on page one of your photos. We had a similar male (pictured), but I think yours is nicer.
I never had any luck breeding the ceratophora. I had 2.4 at one time and I saw lots of courtship but never saw them locked up and no one ever dropped any babies. I'd love to hear more about it if you are successful.
I don't want to count my squams before they drop but perhaps we could trade one or two babies if we both have some. I realize my link was way down at the bottom of my photo on the last post, so if you want to see more of my photos look here: http://corallus.com/atheris/main.html. Click on "squamigera" and then on "photos" near the top.
Take care.
