Frilled size?

Aussielovinherpr Jul 14, 2006 07:42 PM

question to all:
What is the average size for the New guinea Frilled? from tip of nose to base of tail. the one ive got here i am pretty sure is a female and is 6 inches from nose to base of tail. is that pretty close to an adult size? i mean i keep hearing overall length but the lizard ive got here had part of her tail broken off so shes gonna be a bit shorter than normal overall.

See link

Total length is averaged about 30 inches (75 cm). Average of 10 inches (25 cm) from snout to cloaca vent. Tail is about double the length of the body, averaging around 20 inches (50 cm). The frill is fairly large and can measure up to 12 inches (30 cm).
