how big is enough

spentchange Jul 19, 2006 04:10 PM

i know that some people will say that you should make half your house into a cage, but would a 480 gallon terrarium be enough for one CWD. Right now i have him in a 270 gallon and he is maybe 14".
well thanks for any help you can give.

i think that basilisks need more room than water dragons. i have been ready old post and most state that basilisks need 400 . honeslty i am going to make another one day anyways so i am just wondering. ALSO...he stopped dancing when i put him in his larger cage. i think it could be that he is now lower to the ground and not eye level, or he is still getting adjusted.
let me know
thanks

i'm not sure as far as gallon size for water dragons, but i know it needs to be at least 2x the length of your dragon, 2-3 feet wide and 3-6 feet high. more is always better. you probally allready knew all that stuff, but just in case u didn't... good luck.
