This is the newest addition to my collection: a beautiful female persian rat (red phase). She struck at me a few times and is kind of flighty, but an awesome little snake that I'm glad to own. I would really like to find a grey phase as well, but I can't find anyone who is currently working with those.

Here she is hanging out in her new home:

What a beauty. I recently held a Persian rat which looked similar to yours at a local reptile seller's, and she was gorgeous. Best of luck with your new friend and keep us posted on how she does with eating etc. Are you planning to breed her?

Would this local reptile seller happen to be in California?

I am planning to breed her, I need to find a mate first. A guy I know has a male piebald, we may cross them to get the first piebald reds. I've had her for two weeks now and she ate a fuzzy just fine when offered.

No, it's in Crystal Palace, near London, UK! I was wondering if you lived over here (I can't seem to find out if you can view people's profiles - do you know how to do this?). Glad she ate for you and hope you can find her a mate. What part of California are you in? I've been to some parts, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Palm Springs, San Diego, and Yosemite and Death Valley. It's a beautiful state.

I'm about an hour north of LA in the high desert. I'm not sure if you can see profiles on here, never figured it out if you could.
