Classification of Desert Rosy's

reptilicus81 Aug 02, 2006 04:16 PM

I am not sure if my rosy is a Desert or specifically a mid baja...I realize they are very similar, but I was curious if anyone could help me!

Also, if it has spurs based on the locality should I assume it is a boy?

I cannot probe him as my probes are too big, and I don't pop snakes outside of a few weeks old!

Thanks!

Amy,
Go to www.localityrosys.com
In the localities page, Jerry has it all broken down for you to view pictures of many different localities and from the regions they hail.
Yours is clearly a male mid-baja tho. Also, 'desert' rosies are from CA and wouldn't associate with the baja types at all(except in captivity).
