I hawe male and female russian tortoise. They made a sex 1 week ago, I separated them. How long should I wait for eggs? After how many weeks can I connect them again?
Please, write easy langueage, because I'm from Poland, and I'm not perfect in english. But I'M learning!!

My russian tortoises will mate anytime from March to October, but only lay eggs in April to June. So not every successful mating leads to eggs.
Wait about 3-4 weeks, and if the female starts pacing around the enclosure, acting aggressively toward other tortoises, and digging test holes, then she may be ready to nest.
