I'M DOING A HAPPY DANCE!!!!

"SHE" (NO BULGE) IS STILL DRYING OUT AND SPREADING OUT. SHE'S LOOKING BETTER AND BETTER EVERY MINUTE!!!!!!

you found this one in the enclosure? if i were you, i would keep a very close eye to see if a second one pops up, because the majority of the time there will be clutches of 2 eggs....so there might be a second hatchling floating around in there.

That is amazing. I'm glad to see another Uroplatus breeder in WA. Like mike said I would definatly keep an eye out for another baby as well as more hidden eggs. Satanics or any uroplatus do not have a bulge at birth but they are sexable (to a certain degree) by other characteristics such as tail notches. I believe males usually have notches or a more rough tail outline and females have a more smooth tail. Correct me if I'm wrong.

HEY YOU LIVE IN WA??? Where do you live?? I'm coming over for dinner! jk..

I'm definately going to keep my eyes peeled. I'm still in shock over the whole thing. I have 2 incubators and all sorts of stuff for eggs and then this little missy Pops out of nowhere!
I've read too that the males have more ridges.. She almost has none.. so I'm keeping my fingers crossed Even if she is a he... I'll still love him to death!!

She is doing wonderful!! Not really growing much.. but her natural instincs are coming in.. It's fun to watch her "Pounce" on her crickets.. I need to get some GOOD pics of her, but last time the flash went off and she jumped and fell... so I won't be doing that again

BUT GUESS WHAT!! I found 2 more plump eggs in Mom and Dads tank... So I'm guessing she'll have some siblings around the first part of October!! Can't wait!!!
