breeding nasicornis

culebras Aug 12, 2006 04:24 PM

Hello,
I have a male of nasicornis from Uganda.
I don´t know if a female from diferent area, like Ghana for example, is a good idea for mixing.

Can anyone help me?

Cheers!

Just because they are from 2 different localities shouldn't make a difference. The only difference between the 2 localities that I know of is color and pattern variations. These are 2 things you will get even breeding snakes from the same locality, they will all be a little different. I am not an expert on breeding snakes by no means but even a gabino,
gaboon x rhino, they cross locality boundaries all the time and are 2 totally different species but they breed and have successful clutches. My answer is breed them.
