I think that my two african clawed frogs are having seizures. On one of them it's left leg is spazzing out big time and on the other one just mildly. I'm very worried and sad. I think it might do to the fact that my daughter pulled a chair up to the tank earlier while I was washing dishes and thew her hot dog into the tank. By the time I was done and realized there was a hot dog in the tank all the fish and frogs in my tank were already munching out on it. The african clawed frogs were eating some peices of winnie that were flying off as the cichlids were ripping the winnie to sheds. None of the other animals in the tank are reacting badly to this except for my african clawed frogs. I'm so upset and sad. I know that they are going to die. If anyone can give me a remedy or advise I'll be checking this message board regularly or you can email me at EricaBernicG@aol.com. I would really appreciate any advise. If I put melafix in the tank would this help?

thats probally it, but i would suggest cleaning the water. sometimes frogs have muscle spasms if the temperature is too warm, it might help to quarentine them and decrease the water temperature.

i've seen ACF do that many times before. i've seen it mostly after eating frozen food that wasn't thawed, for them its like a body freeze, LOL. was the hotdog thawed out?
