Burrow question about tegus

kich4theanswer Aug 15, 2006 07:43 PM

Hey Guys,

I was woundering if any of you knew anything about tegu's in the wild. Do they have burrows or do they hide/sleep under rock dens, bark, follige, etc. I'm just woundering because if they do burrow, I would like to set something up naturally for my future tegu that I plan on hopefully getting in september! Thankyou for your help!

yes in the wild they do have burrows in the ground or under rocks. I like to make a rock formation out of flagstone. is large and fat and they can use it to make burrows, or if you know someone with logs make you rown half lo out of a big one.
