Redfoots and Peas

drtom Aug 21, 2006 01:10 PM

Does anyone know if peas are okay for redfoots? I tried it once and they seem to love them but can not find them on any list of good or bad foods. Thanks, Tom

Peas are supposedly high in phos. so offer sparringly, I use frozen mixed veggies (with Peas) one to twice a week and you're right, they love peas, but I usually make sure I offer a phos.-free calcium (such as Rep-Cal) suppliment with them.
