Well, my 2 baby green basilisk like to run into the glass of my 75G tank(go figure). I was wondering if putting carpet on the INSIDE of the tank like 3 inches or so high, so when they do run, they hit the soft carpet? or should i put something around the outside, something dark so they dont run into the glass period, or rub their noses. I was thinking carpet would be the best solution, any thoughts would be great, thanks!

You can put some paper around the bottom on the outside so it cant see out on ground level. it should prevent it from ramming/rubbing. If you put a carpet pad on the inside its going to harbor alot of bacteria and molds after being in a humid enviorment for a little while. ew.
