Shipping stress and plateds

twistedcreation Aug 23, 2006 12:59 AM

I recently purchased 2 Sudan plateds from a place in FLorida. They were shipped up here to Washington 2 weeks ago and have not eaten . I ahve contacted the supplier and they have told me what they were eating while in their care and I have offered it all to them. My question is when should I be concerned that it may not be shipping stress and feear for their health.

THank you in advance for your reply

Stress from Shipping & new enivornment stops plated lizards from eating. The lenght of time should not be longer than 24hrs. What exactly is your cage setup: type, spot light temps, UVB fluorscents, ambient temps Day/Night, bedding type(depth of bedding?), hide areas, humidity or nest box, and what are you offering them to eat?
