What type of Rosy will I breed with mine

drvinestein Aug 27, 2006 08:22 PM

I have an ordinary male Rosy Boa that somebody gave to me last winter. With his behavior over the spring, I can tell that he is ready to breed.

So, I want to get a female for him and breed them. What I want to know is other's opinions on what type of rosy to mate it with. I see pictures of all kinds of rosies with neat colors and patterns (although I don't know all the terminology).

What kind of female should I buy to make neat-colored babies?

With Rosies more so than other snakes potential breeders are encouraged to breed only within the same locale. As I don't know much about Rosies, I have no idea what locale yours is from, but maybe if you repost this on the Rosy "sub"-forum here or check on www.localityrosys.com.

Looks like a San Felipe or a San Matias to me?
