I think I was most impressed with how Steve would treat wild snakes and other animals when he encountered them, showed compassion and respect to animals that most people despise, I remember seeing a small snake biting him on the arm and he just said "shes a little cranky today" I think he helped create a better understanding for the general public of snakes in general, he will be missed.
