Here's a couple of pics of one of two gravid banded watersnakes I found in my sister's yard this weekend.THe pic of the creek is where I released the larger one.These were found in southern W.Va. jeff

Great lookin' snakes!
But those are Northern Water Snakes (Nerodia sipedon sipedon) not Banded Water Sankes (Nerodia fasciata fasciata)
