I have read some feed their hl's wax worms. Aren't they too big for the hl's? I ordered minimealies for the times I am out of ants and the petstore is out of crickets. Are mimimealies ok?

Here is their website incase no body has heard of them

Mini meal or pinheads would be better than waxworms. I don't even use waxworms.

If you are in native HL habitat you can try a black light or other light out on your patio at night. You can get a wide variety of insects to feed your HL's. I have a black light and a flood set up in my outdoor enclosure and put it on for an hour or two after sunset and many of my HL's will sit there and gorge on moths, beetles and other goodies. If you are back east you have to be more careful. There are a few insects known to cause health problems and even death. Fireflys and cichadas are two you don't want to use. There may be others.
