I don't mean to sound morbid, but is their footate of Steve Irwin getting attacked by the stingray? As much as I admired Steve's work in the herpetological community, he did take what I considered foolish risks with wild animals. Now, he did seem to smarten up, but I'd just like to confirm that he was not provoking the stingray.
As a disclaimer, I mean no offence to Steve nor his family. I am saddened about his death and hope his family the best in this hard time.

It was filmed, but that is in Police Custody and there is not a plan to release it to the public.

you not dare say steve irwin was reckless! and yes, there was and still is footage, but i didnt watch it. Go to YouTube.com and just search steve irwin's death video =(
