Yes - they are gorgeous.
A couple of mine are already showing signs of developing red crossbands on their back. Just barely noticeable, but noticeable.

My little brother who is visiting is taking most of them home with him this Friday, I may let him take them all home - but I might keep a few. He's got a tank big enough for all them as adults.

You are too lucky! One of my babies is staying a lighter golden color than the others, maybe I will keep that one. I do have a question for you though, one I don't dare post in the other forum for fear of being crucified, they are kinda vicious in there, lol. I have given away 2 of my babies to a good home, have one more being taken home this weekend, so this leaves me with 3-4 more to give away. I don't know anyone else who wants one. Do you have any suggestions on how I can find homes for them? I had a little girl down the street come to the door saying she wanted a lizard, I told her I needed to talk to her dad, the dad sends a note saying yes she can have one and left his #.I asked him what kind of set-up did he have, he actually says to me, umm, we were just gonna keep it in a big jar in the backyard. What an idiot! Of course I told them no, but was still suprised at how dumb people can be. My babies need good homes, any takers?

Hi - unfortunately, I don't know anyone looking for alligator lizards.

My little brother took all of mine except three. I have now collected one baby from the wild and I'm looking for two more, so that hopefully in a few years I can captive breed local lizards from relatively unrelated parents, but I need them to be local gene pool.

The little wild baby I found was actually comforting to find, since I was unsure of whether or not I was over feeding my little guys. The wild one is just as plump. Of course I'm keeping it separate, so that two years from now, I can try to make pairs, but it is the same size and "fatness". I need to find two more little guys. Tomorrow maybe I'll find one or two. If I don't decide to take care of my backlog in the laundry room

I would love to have a couple

I have a 3'x 2'x 18" cage with nothing in it. The old resident has been moved to larger quarters. Always thought the alligator lizards were neat, never had one. I dont do wild caught stuff so captive born babies are a homerun.

I dont even need a note from my Dad. And I promise not to keep them in a jar.

No note or anything? Wow, I am impressed, lol. Just thought I would let you know that all the babies have been given to a good home, but thank you for the interest. : )
