Northern Water Snake Massacre

Unfortunately, people still kill snakes every day, however it becomes another issue when a newspaper glorifies such actions. If you feel so inclined, respectfully let the editor of the Page News and Courier, Randy Arrington -editor@pagenewspaper know what you think.

wow. Just think of all the childrens' lives they saved by killing all those frog and fish eating snakes. Heroic.

I'm not at all surprised to see that the news article is from Va.I grew up in the coal fields of W.Va. & all my life I read about how farmers love to see snakes because they are rodent eaters.I moved to Lunenburg Cty. Va. in 1981.Guess what?About 99% of the people in this area kill anything that moves. The only people I've met that were educated about snakes came from somewhere else. Thanks!, jeff
