Rubber Boa acting oddly

mahoubunnybell Sep 16, 2006 10:25 AM

Well, today I woke up and went to change my rubber boa's water, when I found my snake curled up seemingly dead in his dish. I took him out right away and warmed him up and he seemed to revive, but I am really worried now... any idea what's wrong with my snake? The tank was around 75 degrees at the time, so I know he wasn't too cold. And he has plenty of better places to hide. Was this just some kind of freak occurance?

I had to put him back in the cage and go to work, but I am very worried here that I will come home and find Gakkun dead.

You haven't provided enough information upon which to make any judgement.

Rubber Boas do not suffer from being cold unless the temperature is below the freezing level.
