Eye Infection/Injury?

kelz0429 Sep 17, 2006 09:31 AM

My six month old albino Pacman emerged from his sleep last night with what looks like an eye infection of injury of some kind. I have posted a picture--does anyone have any opinions as to what this might be and what I should do to treat it? Thanks!

kelz0429, from the picture it doesn't look like your frog has an infection, it looks more like there might be something stuck in it. Try rinsing the eye (use the sprayer you use to mist the cage twisted to a jet and gently run the water over the eye), even soaking the frog in water of a depth sufficient to cover the eye (carefully, don't drown it) might loosen or dislodge any foreign body. Good luck.
