I have to say I love this camera. I do not have any experience except for a pocket point and shoot I had. this seemed like the best match for what I needed. Tips welcome

Ok last one, not a herp or??? If anyone knows what kind of bird this is I would appriciate it. Saw it at the monterey bay aqaurium.
