Do Russians have to be hibernated

jeanette74 Sep 19, 2006 03:17 PM

I have 2 russians since jan/feb in Mass-I hear alot about russians-I dont do anything special in the winter for them except make sure their temps are right. Do I have to hibernate them-they seem to sloww up when they are ready-They also seem happy and healthy-they eat ,they are active.Should I be doing anything different in the winter?

Some people choose to hibernate them. Go to www.russiantortoise.org and look at your options.
