Interview with Terri Irwin

herb s Sep 26, 2006 03:46 PM

Just wanted to let everyone know that the Barbara Walters interview with Terri Irwin airs this Wednesday (9/27) on 20/20, 10pm/9pm central. She flew to Australia to interview Terri after Steve's tragic death. Make sure you have your tissue with you, I'm sure it's going to be a sad one. Everytime our family see's anything about Steve on TV we can't help but to cry. It just doesn't get easier to watch. He was such a great man and a great conservationist, it's not right! He should still be here doing what he loves. Too sad!!

I'll certainly be one of the millions if not billions watching it.

It was heartbreaking. I found myself crying right along with her. They were a true love-match.

Hello to all Steve Irwin fans...I just finished watching 20/20
interview with Barbera Walters and Terri Irwin and yes there were times of tissue paper in this interview. It was very obvious that not only was Steve in love with wildlife conservation but his family was truly #1 and very close. I found out tonight that his daughter is very much like him even at 8 yrs. of age they have in the works a program called Bindi the jungle girl can't wait to sit down and watch that with my granddaughter...later in the interview Terri even spoke of how little Bob was carrying a screwdriver to go work on their motorscooter so daddy could ride it in heaven...=( Lastly Barbera asked so what are you going to do now Terri she replied 'take care of our chidren and run the business because I'm Mrs. Steve Irwin...Best Wishes to Terri,Bindi, little Bob and Grandpa Irwin and the whole Austrailian Zoo Family...RIP Crocman!

i watched it, wow i cried alot. yes as part of the reptile community i feel a huge loss, but the part that made me cry the most was the loss of a husband and father. it makes me want to hold the wife and kids a little closer.

I don't think I ever saw anyone express more love for anyone like Mrs. Irwin.

She showed tremendous strength just by doing that interview.

God bless her and her family.

when they mentioned that Steve was afraid of parrots.
Of all the animals Steve has wrangled, rescued, captured, been bitten by etc...he was afraid of parrots. Haha...

I did find myself almost crying several times though.
I still can't believe he is gone...

WOW WAS THAT HARD TO WATCH! My 10 year old son asked me if he could leave the room because it was too sad. My 8 year old daughter, born the same year as Bindi, lay in bed with me crying. It justs makes you want to hop on a plane and fly to Australia and help in any way you can.

Definitely hard to watch at times. It's hard to believe it's only been a few weeks since Steve's death. Terri showed a lot of bravery to speak so candidly about her soul mate after the tragedy. It was great to hear her speak about the zoo's future and how she is more motivated than ever to fight for wildlife and to be strong for her children. She too, is a real hero for animals and deserves our support.
