Cali king hatchling info please help

I am not new to snakes I have 2 burms, but I have never owned a king. So I have a few questions maybe you more experianced can help me with. They are both double het for albino and lav. 1)can a hatchling even bite? (their sooo tiny lol) 2)Can I safely use reptile sand as a substrate if I feed in a diffrent cage? 3) How fast do they grow?
