Biting Rosy Boa

I have this yearling rosy boa, and every time i hold her she starts to try and eat my fingers, its really wierd i have a lot of snakes, and she seems to be the only snake that does this. ill will pick her up and she will climb around my fingers then gradually open her mouth and try to eat my finger. Wierd

I've heard of this happening to other rosy keepers too. Make sure you wash your hands before handling her if you've been handling rodents. You might also want to try handling her rodents with forceps if your feeding pre-killed so that she doesn't associate your scent with food. In the cases I've heard about, it seems to be more common in babies and many grow out of it.
