Bullfrog question

UroTamer Oct 03, 2006 01:22 AM

Will a larger bullfrog eat a smaller one? I've been feeding them plenty. I have two about 3" and one about 1 1/2" they've been doing fine for 3 weeks now the smaller one is gone. All I could think of was one of the bigger ones may have eaten the smaller one?

yes, american bullfrogs are cannibals and will eat smaller frogs as well as tadpoles. they are veracious eaters and just like pacmans and pixies, will eat as much as they can as often as they can and will try to eat anything smaller then they are, including small snakes, birds, rodents, fish, and crayfish as well as insects and worms.
