Went to the petshop the other day and saw this beautiful perfect stripe baby californiae. I always wanted to have a striped one. Have seen many....but most with too much white for my taste. This one has little white.
The problem is...i have a bp and a sinaloan....and i was thinking of getting a pair for one of them. If i get the cali king i won´t get a pair for any of them.
So what would you do....get the pair and be able to breed them in a future or take the little king???
If i get the baby i´ll have three species and i won´t be able to breed any of them Ô_o but it was so cute :S dunno what to do.

btw...the little bugger has a really bad bad temperament hehe....i love it.

If the sinaloan and king are opposite sexes then why not try and breed them together....they are called SinCals in the hybrid forum.

That said, I think you should get a another sinaloan to breed to the one you already have. Ball pythons are more difficult to get to breed and since it seems you are new to captive breeding you should try the sinaloans first. Thats what I would do.

It also should be pointed out that if the Cal King is at a pet store, cal kings just like can undoubtedly be found at shows and by looking at what breeders have to offer.

So you can get a cal king just like it in the future when you have space for more specimens.
