heffner2212 Oct 05, 2006 10:24 PM

Ok well I had him/her for about 2 1/2 months now. its odd because i got him at 1 1/2 inch. He is now 2 1/2 inches in only 2 1/2 months and is souge and wide eating small mice/hoppers and a bunch of small gold fish! I feed him even thou only like 6 months old a hopper every wedsday and as many feeder fish as he eats sunday. Is that ok? then when hes about 3 1/2" ill feed him once a week i think hes a male so ill feed him less often since he wont get as big. Then finally around 4" once every 10 days is all this good?

1 more thing He was in a terrestial cage but i hate how dirt he got everything and he was always idrty now hes in a 10 gallon with like an inch of watter alot of platforms to crawl out of and a hide you think this is ok? HIs cage is about 82-88 degrees....Is all this good
thanks alot
Mike

ok first of all. you should but them in an inch of water. they are not aquatic frogs. they should have dirt of moss substrates be they like to hide by burrowing . and wait for food to pass by ambush attack. i wouldnt feed your pacmans or any frog feeder fish because they have parasites. i would stick with crickets twice a week and pinky treats few times a month. also wax worms, earth worm but not from a bait shop i would buy online dealer. i have a many years of frog expeirance and i have had my pacmans frogs for 8months and still looking great
