Rosy Hibernation

jimmyeo3 Oct 06, 2006 09:27 AM

is it ok to not let your rosy hibernate for one year, she just had a really bad clutch of babies, and she is really skinny. I wanted to keep her on feeding this winter to get her weight back up. I will not be breeding her next year, i just want her to gain some of her weight back because she is so skinny. I fed her yesterday, she ate three small mice. Anyway i was just wondering if this was the healthier way of doing things. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

In my opinion it is fine. I have done it before with no problems and am planning on doing again this year with another.
