They are pretty nutritous and some toads love them. My egyptian toads refuse to eat them though. If your toads will accept them they are a good addition to a varied diet. Your still want to give crickets because they are much easier to dust than a worm would be.
ok thx...iguess ill do a half crix half wiggler diet then. but is the dusting issue the only thing holding me back from feeding them red wigglers as a staple?
well, they might have parisites, with crix you can control what they eat as well as how healthy they are. with the red wriglers, i'm guessing that your toads are CB, which means they are seceptable to the parsites they carry. in the wild they are immune to most of the parisites in their area.
