loggerhead musk question

is it ok to brunate (hibernate) loggerhead musks in winter. houston,tx area. or do they need to stay active year round, thanks steve

I keep mine in our garage from about mid Nov until mid Feb. Sometimes it does get a little warm in there but mostly the temps are in the 50's.
