Texas Alligator Lizard

AutumnNJoe Oct 15, 2006 02:14 PM

I am not real big on lizards at all, but my boyfriend just brought a Texas Alligator lizard home and I really like him/her. It was so weird to see this lizard so calm when my boyfriend was arranging the aquarium with the lizard in it. So laid back. Is there any way to tell if its female or male?

Males have wider and much more triangular heads than females.
Can you post a pic of it?

Also, they sometimes display their sexual organs when picked up.
