Love these toads , I used to hav 2.5 of them . They were always clicking and very loud . They never bred as I never lowered the water level or decreased the water temps . I sure miss them . Maybe someday I'll have another group . Although they seem to be getting harder as each year goes by . Anyways was just bored and cruising the forums .

Hi, how long did you have them, and what kind of setup were they in! Yes mine click all the time, i really love to hear them but it sure annoys some people hanging at my house!

My male is now crasping the female very aggressively! Can anybody give me some advice what to do now that they are starting to breed. Will other Pipas eat the eggs off females back? Should i take her out when she gets eggs and have her live by herself in her own tank until eggs hatch? Also since this is going on for 3 days and still no eggs, shoul i get the frogs that are doing this and setup a deep trash bale for them with an internal filter so they can so there mating in deeper water?
