My albino cal king

MrSmith Oct 20, 2006 11:36 AM

This is Satan, my albino cal. king. These pics were taken almost a year ago. She has doubled in size and lives up to her name. Whenever I go near her she strikes over and over and over again. She drew blood when she was only about two months old.

The pics do her no justice, she is high white.

Love the zig zag on her!

Congrats on a good looker.

btw

Do you know what is more desirable to breed, albinos or lavender albinos. I am wondering as I could get into breeding either, or both.

In my opinion classic albinos look better than lavs. Lavender cal kings are too dark. They are nice, but classics are nicer imho. J.

There are several different lines being sold as "lavender albino" in different shades, and even different eye colours.

Mine has black eyes, I'll try to get some pics of her this weekend.

Pics would be great!

I love my little man Ace. He is a lighter lavender. If I had a digital camera I would post a pic for you.

also

I know I had the information somewhere but seem to have lost it.
Can you remind me what the average cluch is for a Cal king?

Thanks

Not the greatest pics - at some point, I hope to have a "natural looking" table setup with good lighting etc. but until then, this will have to suffice.

In the head shot, the eyes look red because of flash. Flash was turned off for last shot.

I believe average clutch size is 5 and a dozen depending upon age.
