What do you guys think of venomoids? Let's ignore the butcher surgeries we all hear about--I'm talking the ethics and principles of removing venom glands from a hot snake.
Is it generally agreed with? Is it worth the surgery cost? Does this make them 'more suitable' for beginners in venomous? I just want to hear your thoughts, since little is spoken of them.

Might I suggest trying the "search" feature on the main page. Plenty has been said about them. I got 370-something hits, just in current threads... Try the archives and you'll find enough opinions to keep you busy for months...
