During the summer I see alot of anoles around my house. Even on warm winter days I see them. I saw one a couple of days ago. Last december I saw one. I find it wild that I see them so much, even after the weather gets cold.

Anoles are one of my favorite "porch pets". Are you new to the Carolinas? You'll learn to really enjoy these little lizards and spend more and more time outside with them. I've even learned that after a while with the right respect they will become very tame and get used to your being around. I've even had them use my lap as a basking spot while sitting on the front porch on warm afternoons. They are very fun to watch their little head bobbing and dewlap shows.
