Spotted turtle as it was found ~

Yeah I agree, spotties are a little different looking up there, smoother shell. The ones i see in jersey are less smooth more serated shell. Nice pic

I have found the Spotted Turtles to be relatively the same wherever I go. The younger they are, the rougher the shell is because of the growth rings. When they stop growing, the older laminae wear off and leave them smooth. Thanks, Leo

Nice enclosure! Finally, someone that knows better than keeping them in a tank lol Spotted Turtles love to roam and having them outdoors is the best thing you can do for them. Is that all fenced in? Thanks, Leo
