ok when i was 10 i had a horned frog. i had it under heat lights and the cage was hot all the time and humid all the time and as you can imagine my frog lasted a couple months. after that i told myself frogs were to difficult to keep and swore them off as pets forever. I now realize my mistake and am thinking about getting another one. I want to get a relatively small terrarium and have a horned frog in with a bunch of good looking semi-tropical plants...is this a good idea? it seems like plants could make cage cleaning overly difficult. i'm really bad at remembering to water stuff so i would probably get a mist system and a blue light or something. has anyone tried this with success?

its can defiantly be done, the one thing you wanna make sure of is that the plants are in seperate containers that cant be moved easily, i would bet that if the plants were all planted in the substrate that the frog would borrow under them disrupting the whole look of the tank, and it would probobly be a never ending battle, so if th plants are secure i think it would probobly work, you would need extra lighting though just for the plants
