how much water?

i have a outdoor pond with 1 foot max water there is a place for basking and i have a adult musk turtle is that too much water?

As long as there are sloping banks or easy access to the basking site that water depth is OK.
I have found loggerhead musks wandering around on river bottoms in up to 15 feet of water while I was diving. They were perfectly at easy and foraging.
